EMPOWERING MEN AND WOMEN ON THE MOVE FOR RE-ENTRY INC.
Empowering Men and Women on The Move For Re-Entry Inc., is a 501 C3 non-profit organization that started on June 16, 2011. We are a Supportive Housing Program in Atlanta, Georgia for men who have been incarcerated. Our Mission is to place and prepare men to live self- sufficient independent lives.
On June 16, 2011, we began our Supportive Housing Program by serving single women who were release from the penal system. As of June 24, 2015, we suspended our service to women and now solely provide Supportive Housing Program for men. Shared unit for newly released men from prison. We are subcontractor for Department of Community Supervision (Parole and Probation) also Re-entry Partnership Housing (RPH) also Thor housing program for men. Men must be under supervision (Parole or Probation) to enroll in our Housing Program.
Our organization has achieved measurable success since our inception in 2011, by providing Supportive Housing and voluntary wrap around services for Returning Citizens. Resource Services: Career Apprenticeships, Employment, Housing101, Medical, Behavioral Health, Substance Addiction Treatment Referrals, Mentoring, Case Management, Life Coach.
